I have experienced many waxes over the years and I’ve found Perron Rigot to be, by far, the finest quality in depilatory care that I have used. Perron Rigot is a French manufacturer of depilatory waxes used by beauty practitioners all over the world.

My hot waxes are applied at lower temperatures – they are ultra smooth and fluid in texture, ‘encapsulating’ the hair for a more comfortable, gentle and pain-free experience.
With a rosin-free, hypoallergenic formula this ensures protection of the skin and also significantly reduces redness.
A hot wax treatment at Placidus Beauty Salon is ideal for sensitive skin, intimate areas and those new to waxing.
The low temperature wax that I use is non-fragranced, has a natural honey colour and texture and is enriched with sweet almond oil which has nourishing, moisturising and softening properties. I prefer to use this with cotton muslin strips for a more comfortable experience. It is excellent for larger areas.

You can rest assured that all preparation and aftercare is carefully applied.
Combining Perron Rigot’s unique Purifying Blue Lotion (containing anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties) with their Jasmine Oil, which softens and protects creating a barrier between the skin and wax, you’ll have a much more enjoyable experience.
Strict hygiene protocols are followed including the use of disposable gloves, aprons, masks and absolutely no ‘double-dipping’ (a fresh spatula is used with each application).
Perron Rigot was founded in 1936 by two French pharmacists and has gone from strength to strength with its patented and ground breaking formulas.
